Mr. Solomon pursued his studies in guitar playing at the Philippine Women’s University leading to a Bachelor’s Degree, Major in Music Education under the tutorship of the renowned Maestro Jose Valdez.
He took masterclass lessons in Thailand under Dr. Paul Cesarczyk. A talented guitar player, he has performed in numerous concerts and in varied venues such as the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Rizal Park, St. Scholastica’s Auditorium, Philamlife Auditorium and the Cebu Cultural Center.
As a guitar music instructor Mr. Solomon has an impressive history of engagements having been past instructor in Mahatma Gandhi International School, Colegio de San Agustin, Euphony Music Center and Lyric Institute of Music.
Mr. Solomon was recruited seven years ago on “loan basis” by the Guitar Foundation of the Philippines to provide guitar lessons in Cebu through the kind intercession of Maestro Valdez. However, after the expiration of the term of engagement, he decided to stay in Cebu permanently to promote the art of the very instrument by which Cebu is famous as the Guitar Capital of the Philippines.
